STAFFORDSHIRE based technology business 360 Solutions has achieved national
recognition for excellence in the supply of integrated communications solutions.
The company won the best Contact Centre Solution award at the prestigious 2010 Comms National Awards staged at the London Hilton on Park Lane on October 14th.
The event, hosted by top comedian Stephen K Amos and voice of the X-factor Peter
Dickson, was attended by over 600 comms industry professionals.
360 Solutions received the accolade for the integrated solution it provided for
Normans Musical Instruments, also based in Staffordshire, which has a large market
share of the musical instruments UK distribution market. After looking at 360
Solutions’ call management research into their ‘call centre’ the client decided that
they were missing too many calls and that their callers could be left waiting to be
answered for an unacceptable amount of time.
A combination of Mitel call routing and reporting gave them the tools to rectify these
issues, manage the contact centre in real time and decide on how to better plan
staffing levels. Mitel software allowed the directors to manage the team by exception
without having to be staring at PC’s or plasmas. As a consequence, 360 ultimately
persuaded Normans to deploy Mitel 5330 IP phones with integrated Bluetooth DECT
headsets for all users.
Commenting on the award, chair of the judging panel Paul Cunningham said: "The
judges for this year's CN Awards were looking for evidence of strong technological
innovation, great customer awareness and relationships and, of course, compelling
financial, social or environmental benefits from the solutions in question. We were
impressed by 360 Solutions’ ability to demonstrate all of these characteristics.”
